Submitting Planetary Actions

An explanation on how to submit planetary actions.
   (0 reviews)

In order to submit a planetary action, you will need to access your planet management page.  Only you have access to this section of your planet.  This guide will serve as a guide on how to get to it, and what happens after you submit your action.

Let's start out at your planet page. On your planet page itself, there should be a button to 'Manage Planet'.

Then you will be taken the management page. From here you have several options for your planet. We want to use the default option that displays, 'Planet Actions'.

Go ahead and click on the 'Create Action Request' button to generate the form and begin submitting an action.  We have two sections of the form, the first of which is the action itself.

In this form, you will select from the drop down box which category your action falls under. From there - you can come up with a title for the action that gives a short description of what it is about. Finally, you will write your action.  In addition to your writing, you are able to upload additional documentation or images to support your action.  We highly encourage this for ship designs.

Lastly, you will see a form nearly identical to this below the action form. This is for news articles. While news articles are not required, we do encourage them.  When conducting any planetary actions, you have at your disposal a propaganda machine within the planetary news forums. You can write up any kind of planet news you wish to send out messaging of what is happening on your planet.  However for the galactic news forum, it is up to the game moderators to cross-post your written articles, write up a new article, or utilize the news article you write in this form. The more substance you provide, the more chance you will have of it being posted. Additionally, providing an article helps our game moderator team focus on processing actions and clearing out the action queue. This can be a short article, no less than a single paragraph. This article can be about your proposed action, but should not predict results - only announce the intentions or goal of the action, or it can be a cover story that obfuscates or otherwise hides what your real action is about.  How you report on your action (or obfuscate it) may be taken into account in processing your results.

Bonus Advice: Be pithy with your actions. More text is not better, more text is more work for the Moderators. Cite your sources and include links to Wookieepedia or other sites for the moderators, this saves them time and keeps them happy. Failure to include links will be looked upon less then favorably. Finally, don't assume you have to know everything, be willing to ask questions as part of your actions, you can afford to do actions in multiple steps to find out the answers to questions. This is a great way to avoid bad or unexpected results.
