Approximately 1.2 quadrillion credits will be spent to settle the debts. This move is in line with similar actions taken by other Core powers, such as the Kuat Sector. Debt repayment will provide a boost to future budgets, eliminate burdensome obligations, and free up capital domestically to be reinvested in other areas of the economy. Talks would take place in the Royal Palace to provide neutral ground, and an environment conducive to civil discourse. It is rumored that Caamas and Chandrila have been invited to send diplomats to the peace conference. Caamas is renowned as a world of moralists and mediators. Chandrila is renowned as a democratic world, experienced in creating political compromise from diverse perspectives. After nearly a decade of ferocious bloodshed, it is hoped that the Ando Free Colonies, Spiverelda, and Harch will be open to a sustainable peace. The Restoration-class Hospital ship will have the facilities to treat up to 800 patients at once, making extensive use of droids and other automation. This vessel is intended for deployment to disaster relief efforts, and other crisis situations. It is the hope of many observers, that this new class of vessel will provide the tools necessary to ease suffering on countless distant worlds; and provide quality medical facilities where they might not otherwise exist. Glimmerfish Starlines will travel between Coruscant and Alderaan, and serve to encourage tourism to Alderaan. Each trip will feature Alderaanian made products and culture wherever possible. The typical vacation package features a 30 day stay on Alderaan, featuring a broad array of activities and attractions. Guests will be able to enjoy such activities as: Visit vineyards along the Apalis Coast, Stay in one of Alderaan's flying hotels, Tour the famed Killik mounds, Ride through the plains around the marvel of Terrarium City, Climb the mountains around Juranno, Charter sailing out of Belleau-a-Lir, Hike the forest around Aldera, and visit the fine bars, restaurants, and hotels of Crevasse City. Lothrain Posted March 19, 2023 Author Share Posted March 19, 2023 ARNS JORDIR, CHALACTA: ANTILLES LEADS DIPLOMATIC MISSION Senator, and Galactic Republic Supreme Court Chief Justice, Bail Antilles is noted to have departed Coruscant to head another Alderaanian lead mission of peace. Antilles has extended a formal invitation, to the reported Hutt Space government, to participate in a diplomatic conference. It is hoped that this meeting can ease growing tensions between the Republic and the Hutt Clans. Galactic media has noted an alarming growth in militaries across the galaxy, and it is feared that open hostilities may erupt if something isn't done soon. As such, Alderaan has again taken the lead to preserve peace and civilization in the galaxy. The meeting is expected to take place on the world of Chalacta, in the Kastolar Sector. This world is famous for it's peaceful and spiritual culture. This, in conjunction with it's proximity to Hutt Space, make it an ideal location for the planned meeting. The Queen has ordered Senator Antilles back to Coruscant, in the hopes that a new representative can turn things around. It is suspected that Chandrila may take the lead going forward. The Export-Import Bank of Alderaan (EXIMBA) will promote the export of Alderaan sector goods and facilitate the importation of needed resources. The bank will be headquartered in Aldera, with branches in every major Alderaanian city and Leilani (Delaya). EXIMBA will offer direct lending buyer financing for those wishing to buy Alderaan Sector goods and services. It will also offer export credit insurance. It will offer export credit insurance to alleviate some of the risks that exporters take in dealing with foreign buyers. Finally, the bank will issue letters of credit to offer surety to foreign companies in dealing with Alderaan Sector entities. It is rumored that the government has in vested quadrillions of credits into the program. This company will purchase metals, precious minerals, and chemicals to provide a steady supply to Alderaan Sector industry. New seafood, salt, and edible kelp sources will expand the delights available to the Alderaanian table. The RLTC will also provide Alderaan Sector luxuries and technology goods to markets in the Lambda Sector. It is also believed that the company will provide Alderaan access to weapons and weapons parts that have become more scarce in the Core. This should allow sector defense forces to maintain readiness levels in the current defense goods market. Special efforts were made to establish economic relationships with Ando and the Free Colonies. It is hoped that improved economic prospects will bolster the peace, and inspire hope for the future.
