So please bear in mind that this is base on me guessing how the system works without knowing how it works, but I do think I have a decent idea of how it works.
Back ground: I put in an action that would had required 3.58 IG days to complete, which given when it would be done would had put the time to complete around 9:14am my time. Waking up at this time the little scroll over pop up box [which is actually a really cool feature btw] says that it will be done at 11am, or 4 IG days from when I put it in [which another interesting fact, likely means that the TPC production timer only checks once every 4 hours to see if anything is finished].
Suggestion: Instead of having it round up to the nearest day when checking, which is what it seems like it does, could we have it check more offend? If not by minute [which would be ideal, but I could see why this is not done] maybe every half hour or hour? More so for the larger shipyards this could either force them to do a lot more math to try to hit near that full day mark, or otherwise waste a lot of TPC [this mess up on my part would had wasted close to 30-63,000 TPC on some of the larger worlds, which while its a small amount over time this would add up to huge sums].
Note: This is something for future update, I am just bring it to your attention.
