Key Changes

With our 3.3.0 update, we get very close to the finish line.  This is a significant release which adds the planet action tool, planet application tool, several cosmetic adjustments and bug fixes.  

Planet Action Tool

The Planet Action tool is a critical component for the gameplay of SWD.  For those of us who have been around SWD for many years, this tool is a near direct replica of the original action processing tool, at least from the user-side.  On the backend, it offers us a vast array of expanded capabilities with how to organize and process actions. We have written a tutorial to help you understand how to use the form and submit actions, as well as offer some pointers and tips. 

Planet Application Tool

I can say that this is a function I wanted done sooner than later. We could have pushed this off, but it needed to be done.  We wanted a simpler way to apply for a planet than dealing with personal messages which get lost or forgotten. It's a simple tool. You are given three options of planets to select, as well as a text box for you to type in and provide options that do not exist in the game engine yet.  Two important things to note on this.  If a planet is already being played, it won't give you the option to select it.  Also, in the three planet text boxes, they are not drop downs. If you begin typing a planet name, it will autopopulate options. 

Bug Fixes

• A very sizeable bug was detected about two weeks ago that prevented us from adding planetary militaries. This bug has been fixed and tested.  

Cosmetic Fixes

• The military unit list is now automatically sorted in alphabetical order.  
• The admin panel now has an action system link available for game moderators
