Key Changes

We have pushed forward towards game launch with this 3.2.0 release.  This is a significant release which adds the budget tool for our game, which is pretty critical for players.  We have a few other small add-ins that we have added, mostly for cosmetic purposes or an enhanced user experience. 

Planetary Budget Tool

Our planetary budget tool is very similar to our old budget tool. The formulas have remained very similar to how it used to be, for both budget surplus/deficit and for establishing a GDP growth rate off of your budget.  We should have the tutorial article written here in the next couple of hours, and it will be located at the link below: 

There are a few major changes to this tool however, mostly on the administrative side that drastically reduces the time required to process them. Additionally, the budget system establishes our ticket system.  When you submit a budget, you have the option of responding to it as you would a trouble ticket. The game moderators and administrators can then correspond with you through this until it is approved.  The tool now also ties into the game clock and will prevent you from submitting more than one budget per year, and you will re-gain that function when the new calendar year ticks on the game clock. 

Planet List Changes

As you may notice now, there are little user icons on the planet list for certain planets. As you may be able to guess, this allows us to identify quickly which planets are being user-controlled. It is most helpful for new members wishing to apply to planets and needing to know which planets are available to play. 

Military Upkeep

When we rolled out the planet pages and military units, we had an oversight where the military upkeep for your planet did not actually adjust when you would add military units to the planet.  This has been fixed, and it should accurately display what your planet's military upkeep is now.
